I became a Psychotherapist and a practitioner of complementary medicine to fulfil my childhood dream at the age of four of wanting to ‘repair children when I grow up’. Now I am doing exactly that – not only with children, but adults too. From childhood on I have been interested in how people function, why they get ill, how they get better, mentally, emotionally and physically.
Now I am a Psychotherapist in private practice for more than 20 years. My approach is humanistic/person centred and transpersonal. I studied Psychology and Psychotherapy in Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Stress, anxiety, depression, and sexual abuse are areas I specialise in.
I realized, however, that for some people psychotherapy on its own is not enough, particularly when they have got memory problems, learning difficulties, head/brain injuries, etc. This understanding led me to be trained by Dr. Charles Krebs (author of ‘A Revolutionary Way of Thinking’) in Energy Kinesiology. This form of Kinesiology is extremely effective here and also for treatment of stress, depression or anxiety. Since 2008 I have been working in this field.
My interest in Chinese Medicine led me to study acupuncture, and I was particularly drawn to auricular acupuncture because of its quick-acting effectiveness. I combine it with Psychotherapy and/or Kinesiology for best results for the patient. I have integrated auricular acupuncture into my practice for more than 10 years.
